What's inside this part of the 74-module platform? It is all connected — a need arising from maintenance flows straight into procurement and finance.

Equipment tree

A vessel → system → equipment → component hierarchy. Main engine, generators, auxiliary systems, deck equipment; each item carries its technical card, maker, model and serial number.

Planned maintenance

Periodic jobs are defined per equipment; when the trigger falls due the work order opens automatically. The responsible role, estimated duration, required parts and job instructions come with it.

Calendar trigger

Weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual recurring maintenance. Each job carries a due window and a tolerance for delay; when the window opens the job appears on the list.

Running-hour trigger

Maintenance tied to engine or equipment running hours (for example every 500 hours). As hours are entered, the system recalculates the remaining interval and brings the due date forward.

Job history

Who did what, when and with which part — a permanent record with photos, measurements and notes. At audit, the equipment's entire maintenance history is shown from one screen.

Spare part inventory

Part cards, store and shelf location, stock level, unit cost and supplier information. Ship and office look at the same inventory.

BOM (Bill of Materials)

The equipment-to-part relationship is defined. When a work order opens, the required parts are listed automatically — ordering the wrong part becomes far less likely.

Stock movements

Receipts, issues and transfers between vessels. The balance updates with every movement, and the cost of consumed parts flows to Finance as an expense.

Below-minimum alerts

A part that drops under its critical level is flagged and can be opened as a procurement request in one click. The risk of running out of a critical spare becomes visible in advance.

Postponement approval

Deferring maintenance is requested with a justification and passes through an authorised approval. Unapproved postponement is not possible; every deferral is logged with its reason.

Class surveys

Surveys from DNV, ClassNK, BV, LR and other class societies, tracked with their due windows, completion status and attached certificates. Upcoming surveys are surfaced on the dashboard.

PMS KPI analytics

Completion rate, number of overdue jobs, average delay and equipment failure frequency by vessel and fleet. Fleet status at a glance for the superintendent.

Common questions

Can we migrate our existing PMS data?

Yes. The equipment tree, job definitions, spare part cards and stock balances are transferred with bulk upload. Our team maps the data with you during setup.

Does it work when the vessel has no connectivity?

The system is cloud based; during connectivity gaps the crew records jobs and they synchronise once the link returns. Critical due-date alerts remain visible on the office side in all cases.

How are running hours entered?

Daily or periodically, per item of equipment. The system recalculates the remaining interval with each entry; machinery hours submitted with the noon report can also be used.

What happens when maintenance is postponed?

A postponement request is raised with a reason and a new date, and goes to the authorised approver. The due date does not change until it is approved, and the full postponement history is visible at audit.
